Fusion Team Camp
Following Fusion tryouts in June, most players will have little or no contact with their team. In addition, during the long summer many players spend little time with a soccer ball. Join your team in preparing for the select season. Team camp runs from August 4th – August 7th. Players are strongly encouraged to attend Fusion Team Camp as like last year the Fusion Team Camp will be included in the seasonal player registration fees. $100 will be split over two seasons for players in the U9-U14 age groups, and a full fee for U15+ age groups.
Objectives of the camp:
1) Provide players and teams with a pre-season training atmosphere and work on team building
2) Develop and reacquaint players with technical and tactical skills needed for Fall Season
3) Exposed players to different coaches from other Fusion teams or outside the Fusion program.
Players and teams will not be working with their usual coach.

United States Technical Championship
New this year, the club will be hosting a one day clinic and competition. The United States Technical Championship is open to any interested player from the area. The United States Technical Championship (USTC) is an event designed to promote a player’s creativity and decision making skills. In a world dominated by adults the game has been taken away from the player. Overly competitive coaches and parents are stifling the creativity and confidence of the young and aspiring player. Players are trained according to Rene Meulensteen’s “Moves & Skills” Methods. Rene Meulensteen is viewed by many as the leading expert of skill development similar to the training used in the Manchester United youth academy and with the players on Manchester United’s first team during Rene Meulensteen’s employment at Manchester United (2001-2013). Players are encouraged to try (new) moves without any fear of failure. Ball mastery and fast footwork along with mastering the 1v1 situation are the foremost components of this event.
