Important Update- April 15th, 2020

Important Fusion Update

At 11:30 am Wednesday, April 15th, Michigan State Youth Soccer suspended all soccer activities until May 14th.  With that announcement, they also cancelled both the Director's Academy (DA) and Premier seasons for Spring.  You may read the press release HERE.  Tryouts will most likely be moved back from June 13th.  That decision will be made by Michigan State Youth Soccer in the coming days.  The suspension of activities also means that the Midland Invitational Tournament will also be cancelled. Please note a separate communication will be provided to teams who have registered for our Midland Invitational Tournament about this cancellation.

What does that mean for Fusion?

While Michigan State Youth Soccer has made the decision to suspend soccer activities until May 14th, there are still a lot of questions surrounding travel soccer.  Our club has a meeting scheduled this Friday, April 17th with Michigan State Youth Soccer to gain more insight into future programming options.

This is a rapidly evolving situation and and we are working to assess next steps for our club and all of our soccer families. We will use the information gathered at Friday's meeting to guide any decision we make on our Fusion program.  We will provide you with an update by next Tuesday, April 21. At that time we will provide additional information about our season, and should be able to answer any questions about the process of refunding fees paid for the spring season.

We appreciate your patience during this uncertain time. We are in unprecedented times and for myself as well Technical Director, George Hageage, our coaching staff and Board members, I want to thank you for your support of Midland Soccer Club and your patience during these tough times.
