Goalkeeping Academy

The goalkeeping academy offers a focused and specialized training opportunity for goalkeepers.

About:  Tamara Hageage conducts this camp out of her passion to give back to the game which she has been a part of all her life.  This is a goalkeeper camp which focuses on the techniques and tactics it takes to be a solid, effective goalkeeper.

Coach T played for the Club soccer for the Cleveland Internationals and was the starting goalkeeper for the boys varsity soccer team at Woodward High School in Toledo, Ohio.  As a freshman in college, she helped lead the nationally ranked Coloardo College team to the NCAA Division I final four.  She finished her career at the University of Washington where she still ranks as one of the best goalkeepers in UW history.

After college Coach T played professionally here in the US, Canada and then Russia and Denmark.  With Fortuna FC, she became the first American to play in the Danish first division.

After her playing career she coached for 17 years at the NCAA Division I level and currently serves as a coach, goalkeeper staff member and director of the Jr. Academy here at MSC.  She has published two books on goalkeeping which can be bought at Coaches Choice

Jr. Academy

The Jr. Academy is designed to integrate technical skill development and age appropriate, fun soccer activities! The foundation of any successful soccer player rests with their ability to hold a ball and the comfort they feel with the ball at their feet.

The Jr. Academy sessions are conducted by Tamara Hageage.  Coach T not only brings an unbelivable playing background to these sesssions but more importantly, over 25 years of coaching experience at the youth, high school and college level.
